ONE Day: A Day of Giving Back

Realty ONE Group's "ONE Day" is an annual event held on May 1st, marking the company's anniversary and celebrating a commitment to community service. This day of service is a cornerstone of their dedication to social responsibility, with the entire organization rallying behind the cause.

Organized through the company's 501(c)(3) organization, ONE Cares, "ONE Day" focuses on making a positive impact on both local and global communities. ONE Cares houses various initiatives, each addressing a specific need:

  • ONE Tree: Planting trees and promoting environmental sustainability.
  • ONE World Program: Supporting international humanitarian efforts.
  • ONE Dream: Empowering youth and fostering educational opportunities.
  • Waking Up to Safety: Raising awareness about safety and security in communities.

Realty ONE Group encourages all its agents, brokers, broker-owners and staff to participate in "ONE Day" through volunteering. This involvement can take many forms, from participating in local charity events to contributing to global initiatives.

As an example, Realty ONE Group Bold has historically supported organizations like All Kids Win, Food Lifeline, Thurston County Rebuilding Together, North Thurston Education Foundation, and City of Lacey Parks during "ONE Day." This year, they will be supporting Thurston County Food Bank.

This annual event unites over 20,000 Realty ONE Group agents in a collective effort to make a positive difference. By dedicating a day to giving back, Realty ONE Group demonstrates its commitment to social responsibility and strengthens connections within its communities.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors!

Since its humble beginnings in a church basement in 1972, the Thurston County Food Bank (TCFB) has grown into a critical resource for families across our region. Today, it operates two food pantries, a 25,000-square-foot warehouse, and a network of satellites and mobile food banks serving four counties.

At the heart of its work is a clear mission: to eliminate hunger within our community in the spirit of neighbor helping neighbor .

A Meaningful Impact

As the need for food assistance continues to rise, TCFB continues to expand its reach. In 2024, the organization served over 50,000 individuals and distributed more than 11.3 million pounds of food . Through 18 satellite sites, 15 mobile locations, and strong community partnerships, they are making food more accessible than ever.

Children remain a top priority, with over 40% of those served under 18. Programs like FORKids and the Summer Lunch Program ensure kids have consistent access to nutritious meals year-round.

More Than a Food Bank

TCFB is committed to providing healthy food—prioritizing fresh produce, dairy, and protein—while also rescuing millions of pounds of food that would otherwise go to waste. Looking ahead, their vision includes creating a Community Resource Hub to offer both food and essential support services in one place.

Powered by Community

This impact is made possible by the dedication of more than 2,400 volunteers contributing 53,000 hours and the ongoing support of donors and partners .

As food insecurity still affects 1 in 7 people in our region, TCFB remains committed to ensuring no neighbor goes hungry—today and into the future .

Get involved—because together, we can make a difference.
